Women's Media Center Live (WMC Live) is a progressive-and-then-some talk radio hour that launched in August 2012 and is hosted by author and political activist Robin Morgan. The program, only a little over a year old, has been  called “talk radio with a brain,” because it aims for the highest common denominator. Sex, politics, and religion—in fact, every topic your parents said was unfit for polite dinner-table conversation—all get engaged regularly and intelligently. Plus art, humor, news stories others don’t report, voices unheard elsewhere, and Morgan’s legendary commentaries. The show is progressive and then some, and unabashedly feminist.

Robin’s guests are world-class. A sampling includes Gloria Steinem, Congresswomen Eleanor Holmes Norton, Barbara Lee, and Maxine Waters; Jane Fonda, Lisa Ling, KathyBates, Johnnetta Cole, Kathleen Turner, Lily Tomlin,  Erica Gonzalez, Pulitzer Prize-winning columnists Gail Collins, Anna Quindlen, and Connie Schultz; Senator Mazie Hirono (D. Hawaii), Native poet and activist Joy Harjo, Debra Winger, former Poet Laureate Rita Dove, Dee Dee Myers, Christiane Amanpour, UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Navinathem Pillay, Kate Clinton, Maria Teresa Kumar, Sheryl Sandberg, Sandra Fluke, and Kathy Najimy—as well as less known but equally impressive grassroots activists with moving, inspiring stories to share.
