Women's Studies senior, Valerie King, wins UGA Libraries Undergraduate Research Award

Congratulations to Women's Studies senior, Valerie King, winner of the UGA Libraries Undergraduate Research Award 2020! Valerie, a student in Women's Studies and Philosophy, received the first place prize in the senior division of the Libraries Undergraduate Research Award for her project titled, "An Experiment in Reading: Judith Butler’s Gender Trouble and Ethical Citation Practices."

UGA Libraries announced the winners during the Virtual CURO Symposium on April 21, 2020, stating: "[The] applicants provided us with insights into their research process, describing impressively creative and sophisticated projects which demonstrate both a commitment to high standards for their academic work and their passion for research."
