IWS Core Faculty Rumya Putcha shortlisted for Book Prize

Dr. Rumya Putcha, jointly appointed in Women's Studies and the Hugh Hodgson School of Music, was recently informed that her book, The Dancer’s Voice: Performance and Womanhood in Transnational India (Duke University Press, 2022), has been shortlisted for the de la Torre Bueno Prize. This award, which is administered by the Dance Studies Association, is given annually to a book published in the English language that advances the field of dance studies. Congratulations, Dr. Putcha!
