Tell us about your current work (paid or unpaid!)
I serve as Assoc VP of Student Success at the Univ of North Florida in Jacksonville, Florida, which is also where I grew up. My work focuses on how to support students academically so they persist and complete their degrees, while also supporting and nurturing a large staff of academic professionals. I also teach Psychology of Women (for fun), and have been teaching it for two decades (!) now.

How has your Women's Studies experience shaped your life and work post-graduation?
I feel like my experience was incredibly formative, not only via my teaching/research scholarship, but also in how I approach my role as a servant-leader and how I understand my own and others' power.

What are your favorite memories from your time in Women's Studies at UGA? Courses, professors, events?
One of my favorite events was ALWAYS the New Women Faculty Reception, as well as the Women Studies Student Symposium, and the Carson Lecture.

Any advice for current Women's Studies students (graduate or undergraduate)?
Keep thinking and challenging yourself.
