Graduate Teaching Assistant

Kathleen Hurlock is a doctoral student in English at the University of Georgia. Her primary area of study is British women writers from the late eighteenth to early nineteenth century, with a focus on depictions of trauma and its aftermaths. She is also interested in feminist theory and is a Graduate Certificate Student in the Institute for Women’s Studies. She has presented papers at the British Women Writers Conference, the International Conference on Romanticism, and the National Women's Studies Association. Kathleen has taught First Year Writing at both UGA and Lehigh University. She will be serving as an instructor for Women’s Studies 2010: Introduction to Women’s Studies starting in Spring 2021.
