Chris Cuomo wins UGA Creative Research Medal

Dr. Chris Cuomo, professor of Philosophy and Women's Studies, has won a 2013 Creative Research Medal from the University of Georgia's Research Foundation.  Cuomo was honored at an awards banquet held on Thursday, April 18.  Creative Research Medals are awarded annually for outstanding research or creative activity within the past five years that focuses on a single theme identified within the University of Georgia.  Cuomo was one of six UGA researchers honored with a Creative Research Medal at the banquet.

Cuomo was honored for her unique and groundbreaking interdisciplinary work on the epistemology and ethics of global climate change.
