Athens Fibercraft Guild honors Women's History Month with weaving exhibit by local women artists in IWS

The Athens Fibercraft Guild is collaborating with the Institute for Women's Studies at UGA to honor Women's History Month with an exhibit of weaving by local women artists, displayed in the IWS offices in Gilbert Hall.  The 2015 national Women's History Month theme is Weaving the Stories of Women's Lives.

We invite you to stop by our offices and check out the exhibit Monday - Thursday between the hours of 9am-11am and 2pm-4pm.  Exhibit not open for viewing on Fridays.

The exhibit will be on display until April 17, 2015.

If you would like to bring your classes by for a walk-thru, please contact Terri Hatfield at TLHAT@uga.edu to schedule a visit.

The Athens Fibercraft Guild has been actively supporting fiber arts in the community since its formation in 1975.
